About The Position

Dental One Associates of Cross Keys is looking for a Dental Assistant in Baltimore, Maryland to assist their clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment. As a Dental Assistant, you are an integral part of the care team, providing support to the office and assisting the professional dental staff with treatment. The role supports the mission to provide excellent dental care in the community and help create more smiles and memorable experiences. The team believes in teamwork and truly cares about their patients. Candidates must have prior dental assisting experience to be considered.

Requirements

Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program
1 year on-the-job-experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.

Nice To Haves

X-Ray certification - preferred
Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended

Responsibilities

Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed).
Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.
