The Dental Services Assistant provides clinical assistance to the dental staff with functions related to providing comprehensive patient treatment.

- Minimum of one year hands-on dental assisting experience preferred
- Bi-lingual (Spanish) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assists in preparing the Clinic to receive patients.
- Assists the Dentist in all procedures, requiring four-handed dentistry, assists Dentist in recording patient date in the EMR system.
- Provides operatory equipment maintenance through proper cleaning, sterilization, and maintenance of all equipment and instruments.
- As necessary, maintains inventory and submits supply orders to Clinical Lead.
- Assists in the training of new dental assistant staff, regarding operations and procedures.
- Demonstrates competency in the assessment, range of treatment, knowledge of growth and development and communication appropriate to the age of the patient treated.
- Other duties as assigned.
