About The Position
Dental Assistant - Part Time Summary: The Dental Assistant supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the Colorado dental standards. Requirements
- Certification from a dental college OR t hree to six months related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred
- Colorado X-Ray certification
- Current BLS certification
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual in Spanish, preferred
Responsibilities
- Assists the doctor in procedures
- Takes x-rays
- Instructs patients on oral hygiene
- Sterilizes instruments
- Sets up/breakdown and prepares rooms for treatment/hygiene
