About The Position

We are looking for a Part Time Dental Assistant (experience strongly preferred!) who is an energetic team player! Who we are: We are an established private family practice located in beautiful Danville. We have an excellent team environment led by amazing Doctors and our focus is our patients and our team!

Requirements

• Active CPR Certification
• RDA Certification
• Available to work practice hours as needed

Responsibilities

• Supports patient care by preparing treatment room, patient, instruments, and materials.
• Supports patient care by welcoming, comforting, seating, and draping patients.
• Adept at pouring, trimming, and polishing study casts and fabricating aesthetically pleasing temporary restorations.
• Provides information to and educates patients by answering questions and requests.
• Cleaning and polishing removable appliances.
• Anticipates doctor's needs in set-ups, suction, and the passing of instruments and materials.
• Documents dental care services by thorough charting in patient records.
• Adeptness in Intra Oral photography
• Ensures OSHA compliance with the sterilization of instruments, dental equipment, and treatment rooms
• Contributes to team effort with an engaging and positive disposition
