About The Position

We're seeking to hire a Dental Assistant I/II to join our team in Charlotte. One year of hands-on dental assisting experience is preferred (please note: internships and job shadowing do not count towards this). The ideal candidate is certified in dental assisting, CPR certified, and X-ray certified. Experience with Open Dental (or similar software) and digital radiography is preferred. We're seeking someone who thrives in a fast-paced clinical setting and takes pride in delivering excellent patient care. You should be confident in four-handed dentistry and skilled in anticipating the doctor's needs, ensuring each appointment runs smoothly and efficiently. Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment to teamwork are essential. This role also involves regular equipment maintenance, accurate lab work, and monitoring inventory levels. You'll play an active role in maintaining the efficiency and flow of the office. Requirements

  • Proficiency in crowns & bridgework, extractions, restorative procedures, impressions, and fabricating temporaries
  • A strong understanding of dental instruments, terminology, and clinical protocols
  • The ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and keep treatment rooms fully stocked
  • A natural ability to build rapport with patients and provide a comfortable, pleasant experience
  • One year of hands-on dental assisting experience
  • Confidence in four-handed dentistry
  • Skilled in anticipating the doctor's needs
  • Ensuring each appointment runs smoothly and efficiently
  • Strong communication skills
  • A positive attitude
  • A commitment to teamwork
