About The Position

Northside Family Dentistry is now hiring a Full Time Dental Assistant in Macon, Georgia! As a Full Time Dental Assistant, come join our community of collaborative, high-quality clinical, business and operations professionals. Requirements

4 Handed Dental Assisting Experience in a Dental Practice required
Experienced EFDA a plus with at least 2 years required in general and endo, implants and ortho preferred
Experience in fabricating temporary crowns and bridges
Experience assisting with Endo, Oral Surgery, Basic and Major Restorative Cases, Implants a plus!
Denticon experience a plus!
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
Understanding of health & safety regulations, OSHA and HIPAA
Experience with digital software
Excellent interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

Assist the Dentists chairside
Welcomes patients
Prepares patients for treatments or checkups ensuring comfort
Selection and setup of instrumentation, equipment and other dental materials as needed
Instrument sterilization according to regulations
Maintains accurate patient records
Lab tasks as instructed
Provide post-operative care instructions
Maintain clean and stocked operatories
