About The Position

Timber Dental is seeking a team-oriented, Dental Assistant to join our Timber Team. We have opportunities for experienced EFDA assistants, brand new assistants, and those looking to work daily with our hygienists at our East Portland locations. We are offering highly competitive compensation ($24-32+ per hour DOE). We offer medical insurance benefits, in-house dental plan for you and your family, PTO, and much more!

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Certificate
• Oregon X-ray Certification required
• EFDA preferred, non-EFDA opportunities may be available, some dental experience is required
• Open Dental knowledge is a plus, but is easy to learn if you can operate an iPhone!

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
• Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
• Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure all materials are stocked and ready.
• Assist the dentist during patient examinations and procedures.
• Assist the dentist with examinations and procedures needed.
• Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
