About The Position

Parmer Lane Orthodontics is searching for a part-time Orthodontic Dental Assistant. Dental Assistants (with an active RDA and CPR licenses) and bilingual (Spanish) speaker are preferred. No experience is necessary; we will train you. Compensation will depend upon your experience. This is a digital and modern state of the art office. All PPE will be provided.

Requirements

• Orthodontic dental experience is a plus (can train if necessary)
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods (can train if necessary)
• Excellent communication and people skills (bilingual, Spanish speaking preferred)
• Organized and reliable
• High school diploma

Nice To Haves

• Dental Assisting: 1 year (Preferred)
• Bilingual Preferred (English and Spanish)
• Registered Dental Assistant (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Setup instruments, equipment, and materials for patients
• Clean, sterilize, sort and package instruments
• Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
• Scan patients using our iTERO
• Provide oral hygiene care instructions to new and current patients
• Keep the entire facility clean, stocked and organized
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Assist with orthodontic procedures and records taking
• Answer calls when necessary
