About The Position

Dental Assistant – Part-Time | $18/hr | Phoenix, AZ Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM Pay Rate: $18 per hour We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Dental Assistant to join a busy clinical team. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about patient care.

Requirements

• Arizona Radiological Proficiency Certificate required
• Minimum of 6 months of relevant dental assisting experience
• Fingerprint Clearance Card required

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist in providing direct dental evaluations, care, and treatment, including procedures such as fillings and extractions
• Perform dental x-rays
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and coordinate clinic activities with hospital unit staff and specialty clinic staff
• Provide oral hygiene and dental prevention education to patients and residents
• Maintain accurate dental clinic records and ensure completion of required documentation
• Monitor and maintain dental clinic supplies and equipment
• Decontaminate and clean instruments after use
• Prepare instruments for sterilization, sterilize, and properly store instruments and supplies
