Capital Kids Dentistry is looking for an experienced Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our clinical team supporting Dr. Jessica Rubin. Requirements
- Active DC Dental Assistant Level II License (required)
- Ambition to obtain Level III certification
- Prior dental assisting experience required (pediatric experience preferred)
- Strong radiography and chairside assisting skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Comfortable working with children in a busy clinical environment
Responsibilities
- Provide chairside assistance during pediatric dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to infection control protocols
- Take dental radiographs in compliance with DC guidelines
- Ensure a smooth patient flow while maintaining a positive experience for children and families
- Assist with charting, clinical documentation, and patient records
- Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment
