Requirements

Compassionate, strong attention to detail, warm demeanor, and a love for working with others
A team player who’s ready to jump in, help, and make patients feel at ease
Dental Assisting Certification [state of TN] from an accredited school
High school diploma or equivalent
X-ray Certification (or ability to obtain promptly)

Nice To Haves

Coronal polishing and Nitrous Oxide certification preferred

Responsibilities

Provide empathetic chair-side support to our Dentist and Hygienists, including charting and patient education
Ensure smooth patient flow and maintain a welcoming, efficient operatory
Take and process X-rays
Maintain accurate records and treatment plans per Dentist’s instructions
Keep operatories and equipment clean and sterilized
Track and prepare lab cases in advance of daily schedules
Enter treatment plans, present simple treatment plans to patient, writing doctor’s notes into the patient’s chart, collect chairside payments
