About The Position
Calcutta Family Dentistry in Liverpool, OH is adding a Dental Assistant to our team! We are looking for a reliable, team-oriented Dental Assistant who is willing to learn and grow with our practice. This is a part-time position, 2--4 days per week, with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through in-office training in a supportive and professional environment.
Requirements
- Dental Assistant certification or equivalent experience preferred
- X-ray certification required or willingness to obtain
- Dependable, motivated, and a strong team player
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills
Responsibilities
- Assisting the dentist during procedures
- Preparing treatment rooms and sterilizing instruments
- Taking dental X-rays (per state requirements)
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Educating patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Supporting a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment
