About The Position

Dentologie is seeking a full-time Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to provide outstanding patient care in our South Lake Union location! A Registered Dental Assistant with Dentologie will have excellent hourly pay ($25 - $32/hr, based on experience), growth opportunities, benefits package, full-time hours with a balanced schedule, and to be part of an outstanding (fun!) culture. Requirements

  • Required: six months DA experience: active WA state dental assistant registration number.
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, customer service & written communication skills.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Clinical knowledge, skills along with patient care.
  • Prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred: coronal polishing certificate.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of patient care, office and laboratory duties.
  • Assist dentist chairside during examination and treatment of a variety of operative procedures.
  • Provide a 10-star Patient experience.
  • Prepares instruments and materials for the dentist for upcoming procedures.
  • Provide direct patient care in all dental services, including restorative, ortho, pediatric, endo, periodontics, prosthodontics and OS.
  • Passes dental instruments between provider and assistant (4-handed dentistry).
  • Make patients as comfortable as possible in the dental chair while preparing them for treatment.
  • Sterilize & disinfect instruments, equipment and operatories post treatment.
  • Instruct patients on pre- and post-operative procedures and provide oral health education.
  • Proficient in obtaining dental radiographs and intra-oral scans/photos.
  • Keep treatment records such as charting existing restorations as well as planned treatment.
  • Monitor daily supplies for restocking.
  • Assist dentist in providing patients with instructions for oral care post-dental treatment procedures.
