We’re currently looking for a Dental Assistant to join our MidWest Dental team in Atlantic, Ia. Requirements
- Hands-on dental assisting experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong communication and commitment to excellent patient care
- Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and OSHA/HIPAA standards
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during exams and procedures, ensuring efficiency and patient comfort
- Sterilize and prepare instruments and treatment rooms following infection control protocols
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-treatment care, and dental procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and update charts
- Help support the front office as needed
