Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ year of Dental Assistant experience (preferred)
- Dental Assistant license (preferred)
- BLS certification (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to stay calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office; Fuse experience is a plus)
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently
- Willingness to travel between locations if needed
Responsibilities
- Prepare and sterilize operatories and instruments
- Welcome patients and assist with intake, health history, and charting
- Support the dentist during procedures
- Take and process X-rays, CBCTs, and radiographs
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-op care
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental software (Fuse)
- Assist with impressions, temporaries, and lab case management
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and CDC standards
- Keep treatment rooms clean, organized, and fully stocked
