About The Position

We are seeking Dental Assistants who are passionate about making a difference in our community. Our Dental Assistants assist in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a dentist. Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm Work Schedule Includes $750 Signing Bonus! A Day in the Life of a Dental Assistant may look like this: Greet and prepare dental patients Assist dentists during procedures and maintain instruments and supplies Perform basic and some moderately complex dental procedures Assisting in handing instruments and materials to dentists and keep patients’ mouths dry and clear by using suction or other devices Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment Prepare trays of instruments for dental procedures and instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care Recording patients’ health histories Taking and developing x-rays and preparing dental compounds Taking pouring and trimming dental impressions and seating temporary restorations

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Active Texas Dental Assistant License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Nice To Haves

  • Experience as a Dental Assistant, minimum of one (1) year
  • Proficiency with EMR system
  • Bilingual English/Spanish language skills are a definite plus
