About The Position

Overview Location: Fort Bliss, TX Hours of Performance: The performance hours of the MTF are as follows: In general, all Dental Clinics are open between the hours of 0600-1700, Monday-Friday. Routine Clinic hours may vary by location. Regular dental services may be scheduled between 0600 hrs. (6:00 a.m.) and 2200 (10:00 p.m.) hrs. Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. Federal holidays. Depending on mission requirements, services may be required on weekends. Perform chair side dental assisting, radiology, and sterilization. Educate patients on oral hygiene, plaque control, and postoperative instructions. Perform patient scheduling or records review, occasionally. Maintain safe, clean environment. Document dental care services by charting in patient records. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Graduate of a formal dental assistant training program, including radiography. 6+ months of clinical dental assisting experience within last three (3) years. Current BLS certification. Requirements

Graduate of a formal dental assistant training program, including radiography.
6+ months of clinical dental assisting experience within last three (3) years.
Current BLS certification.
Current proof of immunizations.
