About The Position
We are hiring a Dental Assistant. We’re a general and family dentistry practice looking for someone with solid chairside experience who’s organized, reliable, and genuinely good with patients.
Requirements
- All applicable North Carolina state licenses and certifications
- Chairside assisting experience — at least 1 year in general dentistry preferred
- Comfortable with 4-handed dentistry, digital x-rays, and iTero scanning
- N2O monitoring certification
- Coronal polishing certification
- A calm, professional chairside manner
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with Open Dental is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist chairside during general and family dentistry procedures
- Take high-quality digital x-rays and intraoral scans (iTero)
- Take impressions, chart restorations, and maintain accurate patient records in Open Dental
- Educate patients on treatment plans, post-op care, and oral hygiene
- Prep and break down operatories between patients
- Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols
