About The Position

Dental Assistant (DA) Cottonwood Creek Dental, Eagle, ID Proudly supported by Mosaic Dental Collective Cottonwood Creek Dental, a trusted practice supported by Mosaic Dental Collective, is looking for an upbeat, dependable, and team-oriented Dental Assistant (DA) to join us in Eagle, ID. We’re all about creating a positive experience—for both our patients and our team—and your role is essential in keeping our days smooth, efficient, and full of smiles. Whether you're taking x-rays, prepping rooms, or offering a calm word to a nervous patient, you’ll be at the heart of what makes our care exceptional. Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent, and specified training courses as mandated by state for certification, licensure, or registration
  • 2+ years of RDA experience preferred
  • Certifications/licenses/registrations as mandated by applicable state
  • Highly organized and attentive to patients’ needs
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Must be able to explain procedures and educate patients.
  • Maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times.
  • Uphold patient confidentiality and exhibit a compassionate and caring demeanor.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a diverse dental team.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with a calm and professional demeanor.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 + years of experience preferred, but not required.
  • Radiology certification and CPR certification preferred
  • Experience with dental software (e.g., Dentrix or similar) is a plus
  • A friendly, calm, and professional demeanor
  • A team-first mindset with great communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Assist the dentist during a wide range of clinical procedures
  • Prepare and sterilize rooms and instruments with care and consistency
  • Take digital x-rays and maintain accurate patient records
  • Educate patients on post-op care and oral health maintenance
  • Help keep the day flowing with a proactive, can-do attitude
