About The Position
Coral Springs Dental is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team full-time. Our practice is committed to delivering 'Best in Class' care to every patient, every day. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting our dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality of care in a comfortable environment. In this position, you will be responsible for preparing exam rooms, sterilizing instruments, and ensuring that all necessary equipment is ready for the dentists. A solid understanding of general anatomy of the mouth and dental terminology is essential, as you will be involved in procedures related to crowns, fillings, extractions, root canals, and implants. You will assist dentists by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs during procedures, as well as taking and processing X-rays of patients. Your role will also include greeting patients as they arrive, scheduling appointments, advising them on recommended oral hygiene practices, and maintaining accurate patient records. Strong communication skills are required to effectively deliver oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions. Additionally, you will handle general administrative duties to help maintain the smooth operation of the dental practice.
