The Dental Assistant will assist in the direct provision of primary care dental services to patients. The Dental Assistant is also responsible for sterilization, preparation and inventory control of dental instruments and supplies.

Requirements

• A passion for helping patients.
• Active New Jersey Radiological Technology License is required.

Responsibilities

• Work under the supervision of the Dentist.
• Assist Dentist in chair side procedures routinely done in a general dental practice.
• Prepare operatory for patient treatment as per Dental Department protocols and the Dentist's directions.
• Maintain sterilization of all instruments.
• Maintain adequate operatory supplies.
• Maintain standards of confidentiality.
