About The Position

The Orthodontic Dental Assistant supports orthodontic care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the Colorado dental standards. This is a part time position to work 3 days a week for our Denver and Aurora offices. At CHOICE Healthcare Services, our mission is to provide everyone access to the healthcare they need. Requirements

• Certification from a dental college OR three to six months related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred
• Colorado X-Ray certification
• Current BLS certification

Responsibilities

• Assists the doctor in procedures
• Takes x-rays
• Instructs patients on oral hygiene
• Sterilizes instruments
• Sets up/breakdown and prepares rooms for treatment/hygiene
