About The Position

Dublin Dental Team is seeking a reliable and detailed oriented Sterilization and Hygiene Dental Assistant to join our team. This entry level position is ideal for someone interested in starting a career in the dental field. The Sterilization and Hygiene Dental Assistant plays a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient environment for our patients and clinical team. In addition to This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to our patients' oral health and well-being. General Responsibilities (not limited to): Clean, disinfect, and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to established protocols Maintain proper organization and inventory of sterilized instruments and materials Prepare operatories between patients, ensuring all areas are properly disinfected and restocked Operate and maintain autoclaves and other sterilization equipment Monitor and log sterilization cycles for quality assurance and compliance Assist clinical team with setup and breakdown of treatment rooms as needed Follow OSHA, CDC, and infection control guidelines always Support back-office flow and assist with minor clinical duties as assigned Communicate effectively with team members and patients. Take diagnostic digital radiographs (x-ray) Assisting Hygienists and Doctors with charting as needed . Ability to keep up and adapt to a fast-paced work environment. Comfortable working in a sterile environment and maintaining a high standard of sanitization. Ability to learn Dental Software or have previous knowledge.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Dental X-ray Certification
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

Responsibilities
