Temporary Dental Assistant/Registered Dental Assistant (Full-Time or Part-Time)

Requirements
- For Dental Assistant: High School Diploma or GED CPR Certification 8-Hour Infection Control Certificate Willing and able to travel to other MCHC sites for trainings, meetings, and/or to cover shifts as needed.
- For Registered Dental Assistant (RDA): High School Diploma or GED California Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) License CPR Certification California X-ray License Coronal Polish Certificate Sealant Certificate Willing and able to travel to other MCHC sites for trainings, meetings, and/or to cover shifts as needed.

- Experience working in a dental office with Electronic Health Records (EHR)
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (fluent)

Responsibilities
- Provide chairside and clinical support during exams and procedures
- Take impressions for models and denture appliances
- Place and remove rubber dams or other isolation devices
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during appointments; communicate observations to the dentist
- Assist in discussing treatment plans with patients and act as a liaison between provider and patient
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and care
- Prepare and disinfect treatment rooms in compliance with infection control standards
