About The Position
Orthodontic Assistant (Full-Time) Compensation: $18 – $23 per hour (DOE) Schedule: Monday–Thursday with occasional Fridays Travel: Must be willing to travel between 5 locations At DaBell & Paventy Orthodontics, we believe great orthodontic care starts with a strong, supportive team. Requirements
- Prior orthodontic assisting experience preferred
- Active dental assisting certification/license per state requirements
- Comfortable traveling between 5 practice locations
- Strong understanding of orthodontic workflow
- Reliable, adaptable, and team-oriented
- Friendly, patient-focused communication skills
Responsibilities
- Assist the orthodontist during a wide range of orthodontic procedures
- Place and remove brackets, wires, bands, and orthodontic appliances
- Take digital scans, photos, and X-rays as needed
- Prepare and efficiently turn over treatment rooms
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and home care
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow sterilization protocols
- Work closely with a collaborative clinical and front office team across locations
