Requirements
- Prior orthodontic dental assisting experience required
- Active dental assisting certification/licensure (per state requirements)
- Strong knowledge of orthodontic instruments and procedures
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a team
- Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented
Responsibilities
- Chairside assisting during orthodontic adjustments and procedures
- Bracket placement and removal (per state regulations)
- Archwire changes, banding/debanding support
- Taking digital impressions, radiographs, and intraoral scans
- Patient education on appliance care and oral hygiene
- Maintaining sterilization and OSHA-compliant protocols
- Supporting smooth daily clinical operations
