About The Position
At Marcin Dental, part of Elite Dental Partners, we are dedicated to providing exceptional non-clinical support services to dental practices facing various challenges. Our team is composed of professional staff who play a crucial role in assisting with non-clinical services across a broad network of affiliated dental practices. As a Dental Assistant, you will be an integral part of our collaborative and motivated team, ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality of care in a comfortable environment. In this position, you will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, capturing quality dental radiographs (x-rays) and ensuring that patients feel comfortable before, during, and after their dental treatments. You will also be responsible for carrying out infection control protocols, preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment, and providing patients with post-treatment instructions for oral care as directed by the dentist. Additionally, you will educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies, such as tooth brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling, under the guidance of the dentist. Your role will also involve taking impressions of patients' teeth for study casts and maintaining enthusiastic communication with patients and suppliers, which includes scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, and assisting with billing and ordering supplies as directed by the Office Manager. This position requires a strong commitment to providing high-quality, comprehensive chairside care and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
