About The Position

DENTAL ASSISTANT - INSTRUCTOR - PART TIME - MONDAY-FRIDAY We are looking for experienced Dental Assistants to become fully trained DA morning instructors, 2-4 days/week. Classes run year round M-TH, 8:30-1, 9-20 hours/week. Have you ever thought about teaching? We are looking for experienced Dental Assistants to become fully trained instructors to teach year round classes as Primary Scheduled Instructors and Secondary Instructors ready to step in as needed for teaching assistant and substitutes as needed. Requirements

3+ years' experience in the medical assisting field and formal training from an accredited institution. Must be able to obtain a national certification as medical assistant. Individuals without a formal education, must have with a minimum of 5+ years' experience working in the medical field and a national certification. Additional requirements or exceptions may be applicable based on the state, program, and accreditation requirements.
Interest in teaching or prior experience
Must be flexible and have a passion to learn and grow

Responsibilities

Teach in the Dental Assisting classroom with 10-20 students, covering clinical and administrative skills.
Learning the material and delivering lectures and demonstrations, working from the Ross lesson plans and curriculum.
Class sessions are 4.5 hours in either day or evening sessions.
