About The Position
The role of a Dental Assistant II is to provide advanced assistance to General Dentists during examinations and procedures. They perform expanded duties such as taking x-rays, polishing teeth, placing temporary fillings, and assisting with more complex dental procedures. They ensure patient comfort, sterilize instruments, maintain dental records, and educate patients on oral care. This role is responsible for assisting the dentist in all aspects of dentistry and performing extra-oral duties or functions under the general or direct supervision of the General Dentist.
