About The Position

Dental Assistant II Full Time: Monday – Friday Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry is growing in the Harrisburg/Charlotte area, and we’re excited to add a second strong Dental Assistant II to support the continued growth of our Harrisburg office. Located at 13470 Plaza Rd Extension, Suite 100, Charlotte, NC 28215, our practice is a modern, patient-focused office with a collaborative team environment. This position is being created as an addition to our current clinical team, and we are looking for someone who thrives in a supportive, fast-paced setting and enjoys helping both patients and teammates succeed. Requirements

  • Dental Assistant II (DAII) certification required
  • 2–5 years of dental assisting experience preferred
  • CDA certification, radiological equivalency through the NC State Board, or completion of a CODA-accredited dental assisting program
  • NC Dental Radiology Certification required
  • CPR certification (or obtained within 30 days of hire)
  • Ability to confidently present treatment plans and discuss insurance information
  • SoftDent experience preferred
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to work Monday–Friday

Responsibilities

  • Assist the doctor in all aspects of clinical dental treatment
  • Prepare and present treatment plans and coordinate care with patients
  • Maintain instruments, supplies, and operatory equipment
  • Collect and update patient health histories
  • Provide chairside assistance during procedures
  • Complete instrument sterilization and treatment room turnover
  • Prepare dental materials and equipment for scheduled procedures
  • Complete dental charting accurately
  • Assist with inventory and additional clinical support duties
  • Help schedule appointments while anticipating potential patient obstacles
