Responsibilities

• Assist with dental treatment of patients, including seating patients and assisting with procedures.
• Prepare and mix dental materials as instructed and chart treatment in patient records.
• Prepare treatment plans for patients and explain procedures to them.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area, clean and set up equipment, and disinfect surfaces.
• Sterilize instruments and set up instrument trays for procedures.
• Take necessary x-rays and import them into the practice management software.
• Take dental impressions and pour up cast models.
