About The Position
The position involves preparing patients for dental work and assisting dentists with various procedures. Responsibilities include infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up instrument trays, and preparing materials. The dental assistant will also assist in managing medical and dental emergencies, provide patient care, and record treatment information in patient records. Additional duties include exposing dental x-rays, providing information on dental hygiene, collecting medical histories, and caring for dental equipment.
