About The Position

Job Summary Support the clinical faculty, dental students, and other clinical support staff in the CDM Clinical Sites including the pre-clinical simulation laboratory. Prepare, dispense, and maintain dental instruments, supplies and equipment. Support clinic operations Support administrative clinical staff Support the educational mission of CDM

Requirements

• Education: Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Experience: One or more years of experience as a dental assistant in a clinic, hospital clinic or dental office.
• Licensure and Certification: Current Basic Life Support certification and CA radiation safety certification.
• Must have completed or be able to complete within 90 days of hire: a California Dental Board approved course in the Dental Practice Act and a California Board approved course in infection control.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License
• Must maintain a Motor Vehicle Report ( MVR ) that satisfies the requirements of the WesternU Vehicle Use Policy.
