This position starts as a Dental Assistant and transitions into a Front Desk Administrative role, giving you the opportunity to support both the clinical and administrative sides of the office. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in a dental office
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills and outstanding customer service
  • Warm, approachable manner and excellent communication skills
  • A desire to grow and expand your role

Nice To Haves

  • CDA certification

Responsibilities

  • Greeting and welcoming patients
  • Scheduling and rescheduling appointments
  • Assisting patients with forms and updating records
  • Communicating with insurance providers
  • Answering phones and general office tasks
  • Perform four-handed dentistry
  • Prepare treatment and exam rooms
  • Gather patient health information
  • Take digital X-rays
  • Coronal polishing, sealant, and fluoride application
  • Teach children proper brushing and flossing
