Dental Assistant Adjunct (lab/clinical)
About The Position
The duties for a Dental Assistant Adjunct (lab/clinical) will include but are not limited to being a resource for dental assistant students, assisting with laboratory sessions, providing timely feedback to students, evaluations, collection of course assessment data, and maintaining student records. Dental Assistant adjuncts will use appropriate teaching techniques for didactic and lab instruction while ensuring a safe and healthy work and learning environment complying with college and regulatory policies. Please include licensure number on application (under skills and qualifications) Location: Sioux City campus 2023-2024 school year
Requirements
- Current registration or licensure in Iowa, Nebraska, or South Dakota
- Current Dental Assisting National Board Certified ( DANB )
- Basic Cardiac Life Support – Health Care Provider Level – current
- Mandatory Reporter Dependent Adult and Child Certified- current
- Immunizations as per Health Science Division for clinical faculty
