About The Position
The incumbent in this position performs chair side assisting duties in all areas of dentistry under the general supervision of the Faculty Practice Manager. This role involves providing chair side assistance to a licensed dentist and assisting in four-handed dentistry. The incumbent will assist dentists in a wide variety of specialties including Pedodontics, Endodontics, Periodontics, Prosthodontics, Orthodontics, Oral Surgery, and General Dentistry. Work will be performed at an advanced journeyman level in the Department of Faculty Dental Practice at the LSU School of Dentistry.
