About The Position

Join Vancouver Clinic as a Revenue Cycle Denial Analyst Location : The VIC (18110 SE 34th Street – Vancouver, WA 98683) Compensation : starts between $35.70-$44.75 and placement in the range depends on an evaluation of experience. Schedule : Monday through Friday, 8:00a-5:00p Responsible for : analyzing denied or rejected insurance claims to identify root causes, resolve issues, and recover appropriate reimbursement. This role closely partners with billing and clinical teams to identify denial trends, improve processes, and support revenue cycle efficiencies. Must have strong analytical and communication skills with a solid understanding of medical billing, coding, and payer regulations. Vancouver Clinic provides care across a wide range of medical decisions. This includes care and opinions on vaccinations, reproductive health, end-of-life decision-making, and gender affirming treatment. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in health care or Business-related field preferred.
  • Minimum of four years of experience in health information management, coding, or accounts receivable management required.
  • Ability to interpret insurance medical policies and procedures.
  • Professional use of financial reporting and spreadsheets.
  • Highly skilled in prioritizing, organizing, planning, and communication.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite with excellent Excel and presentation skills.
  • Experience with physician practice management (billing) software required, Epic experience preferred.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • One of the following coding credentials preferred: AHIMA (CCA, CCS, CCS-P, or RHIT); AAPC (CPC, CPC-A, CPC-H, CPC-H-A, or one of the relevant AAPC specialty-specific coding credentials
  • Epic experience preferred.
