About The Position

The Mitigation Technician leads production on job sites and performs as a technician as workflow dictates. This role involves responding to all activities of emergency services work related to assigned program work and tasks assigned by the Production Coordinator, ERT Project Manager, and Mitigation Team Leader. The technician participates in an on-call rotation and is responsible for various emergency services including water extraction, fire/smoke services, and mold remediation. The position requires daily communication with the ERT Project Manager and documentation of work performed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Mitigation Technician experience.
  • Restoration documentation experience (Dry Logs, Scope sheets).
  • Capable of communicating and understanding scope of work.
  • Dependable transportation.
  • Smartphone.
  • Able to climb a ladder.
  • Able to lift at least 75 pounds.
  • Able to work in confined spaces.
  • Able to work around a variety of chemicals without adverse reactions.
  • Follows established safety practices including proper use of PPE.
  • Basic technology experience (computers and smartphone apps).
  • Desire to operate at a high level with accountability.

  • IICRC Certifications for Water Restoration Technician and Fire and Smoke Technician.

Responsibilities

  • Leads production on job sites.
  • Performs as a technician as workflow dictates.
  • Responds to all activities of emergency services work related to assigned program work.
  • Participates in on-call rotation.
  • Leads emergency losses response.
  • Performs emergency water extraction and drying services.
  • Leads emergency fire/smoke services including deodorization, pack-outs, and securing structures.
  • Leads mold remediation including demolition and cleaning.
  • Performs daily documentation including photos, notes, and scope sheets.
  • Communicates with property managers/owners.
  • Maintains company equipment and vehicles.
  • Documents work completed through photos and daily logs.
  • Participates in ongoing problem solving and continuous improvement.
