About The Position

Strittmatter Companies , a recognized leader in site development and excavation, is actively seeking a Demolition Foreman to spearhead field operations on multiple active job sites. This is a hands-on leadership role where your expertise, vision, and attention to detail will directly shape the success of our demolition projects. We’re looking for a strong communicator, a decisive problem-solver, and above all, a proactive leader who values safety, precision, and teamwork.

Requirements

6+ years of demolition supervision experience (commercial or large-scale residential preferred)
Deep knowledge of job site safety and regulatory compliance
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
Heavy equipment operation experience and understanding of trucking logistics
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Experience with project tracking software like Heavy Jobs (or similar)

Nice To Haves

Experience managing multiple job sites at once
Familiarity with environmental regulations and permits
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends when needed
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions

Responsibilities

Lead daily field operations across multiple demolition sites, ensuring work stays on schedule and aligns with project goals.
Supervise on-site crews, building a culture of safety, accountability, and high performance.
Coordinate closely with clients, subcontractors, inspectors, and project managers to keep everything running smoothly.
Conduct and lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and ensure safety compliance is a top priority.
Interpret and execute plans, specifications, and schedules with clarity and confidence.
Oversee equipment use and logistics, including dump truck scheduling and site-specific needs.
Identify operational improvements and help drive process efficiencies in the field.
