About The Position

Caring Senior Service of Temple is seeking a compassionate, experienced caregiver to provide one-on-one care for a senior client with dementia. If you have dementia care experience and a heart for serving seniors, we want you on our team!
Schedule:
12-hour shift(s)
Location: Temple, TX

Requirements

• Proven experience caring for clients with dementia (required)
• Strong understanding of dementia behaviors, redirection, and communication techniques
• Patience, empathy, and reliability
• Ability to provide personal care, companionship, and safety supervision
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
• Must pass a background check

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility)
• Provide calm, supportive, dementia-appropriate care
• Monitor safety and respond appropriately to behavioral changes
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Offer companionship and emotional support
