We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as an Associate Program Manager! This Associate Program Manager will head up Demand Response programs in OR and WA focused on the multifamily sector. Responsible for the cost, implementation and performance of these programs, this role requires subject matter expertise and previous experience working with demand response utility programs. You’re a great fit if you can… Demand Response Expertise Serve as a subject matter expert; multifamily sector experience is a plus. Provide leadership and strategic direction for evolving programs. Program Management & Operations Align program development with market trends, goals, and client needs. Identify opportunities, analyze issues, and recommend solutions. Manage budgets, deliverables, and programs at all stages. Evaluate performance and optimize outreach strategies. Improve processes and tools for better delivery. Ensure accurate reporting and data management. Collaboration Help teammates grow Demand Response knowledge. Navigate ambiguity and provide clear recommendations. Listen and execute on client vision.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in demand response, energy efficiency, and program implementation.
  • 1+ years in a client-facing role.
  • 2–4 years of project management experience.
  • Passion for advancing demand response programs, especially in multifamily.
  • Self-motivated with strong work ethic and initiative.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills; thrives in fast-paced environments.
  • Collaborative, eager to share knowledge and mentor others.
  • Ability to work effectively and build relationships in a remote setting.
  • Currently living in Oregon.

Responsibilities

  • Manage portions of large contracts or multiple smaller ones (<$2M annual revenue).
  • Ensure compliance and client satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (3–7 members).
