Nice To Haves
- Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of -- Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- More than 5 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, inventory management practices and procedures
- Between 3-5 years of experience in Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process flow
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes. Experience with IBP systems, including KPI and alert functions familiarity.
Responsibilities
- Lead, support and manage a team of demand planners to ensure forecast accuracy and effective collaboration across business partners.
- Develop and manage demand forecasts using advanced planning software to ensure alignment with sales initiatives and market trends.
- Work closely with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to gather data, understand market dynamics, and adjust forecasts accordingly.
- Fully leverage the IBP system functions, including Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting and alerts, to improve forecasting accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure a cohesive approach to demand planning and supply chain management.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify potential risks and opportunities. Develop effective forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns.
- Identify, propose, and implement process improvements to enhance forecast accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Prepare and present regular reports on demand forecasts and supply chain performance to management.
