About The Position
Raymour & Flanigan, the premier furniture retailer in the Northeast, is currently seeking an experienced Supply Chain professional to join our team as a Demand Planning Analyst based in Liverpool, NY. This role is crucial in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers by providing specialized support to the Supply Chain team through effective data management, reporting, and a strong understanding of systems. The primary function of this Analyst role is to ensure the integrity and accuracy of the Item Master database, which is essential for maintaining optimal inventory levels and vendor commitments. In this position, you will be responsible for transitioning the database weekly, including Month Start and Year End processes. You will review and analyze daily and weekly operations reports, monitoring operational performance to ensure that products are consistently in stock and that vendor commitments are upheld. Additionally, you will create and maintain Excel reporting for the team, which includes forecast files, PO maintenance files, and exception-based reporting. Updating fields at the SKU level in the Item Master database is also a key responsibility, as it ensures the accurate flow of goods from new introductions to the exiting of groups. You will develop a comprehensive understanding of forecasting and planning software to enhance the flow of products from forecast to purchase order transmission, acknowledgment, and expediting. Assisting the team with PO generation and transmission to vendors, while maintaining accurate delivery dates on POs, is another critical aspect of this role. Furthermore, you will contribute to the development of tools and processes that increase the efficiency of the team and collaborate with the vendor community to ensure compliance with Raymour & Flanigan's supply chain management expectations. A thorough understanding of the flow of import and domestic shipments will also be necessary to support the delivery of any item within three days or less anywhere in our trading area.
