About The Position
The Demand Planning Analyst plays a crucial role in the Demand Planning team, which is essential for preparing the company for future challenges. This position involves analyzing and forecasting material requirements while acting as a liaison between various departments, including sales, engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing. The goal is to ensure balanced material availability to support customer needs and business operations effectively. The analyst will support various demand streams, including new systems, field spares, and new product introductions, as well as other operational areas such as new systems order management and used lasers. In this role, the Demand Planning Analyst will develop demand plans to support new product introductions, laser sales, and field inventory. The analyst will analyze data from both internal and external sources, generating business insights by translating this data into visuals, reports, and dashboards that facilitate informed decision-making. Additionally, the analyst will assist in formulating problem statements and conducting exploratory data analysis to identify trends and patterns, proposing and implementing solutions to enhance demand accuracy. The position requires following order management processes and effectively communicating relevant information to customers. The analyst will work cross-functionally to ensure alignment and drive necessary actions while developing and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
