About The Position

In this role, you will own the end-to-end forecasting process for physical products across retail and wholesale channels. You will translate performance data, market trends, and operational signals into actionable demand and revenue plans, enabling better inventory and supply chain decisions. Working closely with commercial, marketing, finance, and operations teams, you will align assumptions, provide insights, and ensure forecasts drive measurable business outcomes. You will analyze retailer-level performance, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend adjustments to optimize sales and inventory. This position offers high visibility, cross-functional collaboration, and the chance to impact strategic planning in a fast-moving consumer products environment.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of experience in demand planning, revenue forecasting, analytics, or similar roles for physical products, preferably in omnichannel companies.
  • Prior retail planning experience or exposure to major U.S. retailers (e.g., Walmart, Target, Best Buy, Costco).
  • Familiarity with 3rd-party retailer portals (e.g., Retail Link or Circana).
  • Strong ability to integrate digital performance metrics (traffic, impressions, conversion) with wholesale and retail pipeline data into forecast models.
  • Advanced technical skills with Excel, Google Sheets, or other scenario modeling and forecasting tools.
  • Proven track record collaborating cross-functionally with commercial, marketing, finance, and operations teams.
  • Excellent communication skills to present insights, tell the story behind the numbers, and influence decision-making.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, Analytics, or related field.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable with ambiguity, ownership, and process improvement.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with eCommerce planning, sales functions, or CPFR/JBP processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain weekly, bottom-up forecast models for wholesale and retail channels.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align assumptions on product launches, promotions, and channel shifts.
  • Translate market, operational, and consumer indicators into SKU-level demand and revenue projections.
  • Monitor retailer performance (sales, inventory, sell-through, in-stock rates) to highlight risks and opportunities.
  • Support monthly and quarterly forecast cycles, presenting variance analyses and recommending adjustments.
  • Collaborate with operations and supply chain to ensure forecasts translate into inventory, procurement, and replenishment plans.
  • Continuously improve forecasting processes, tools, and metrics, incorporating automation, visualization, and scenario planning.
  • Serve as a trusted business partner, providing insights that influence marketing spend, product launches, and channel strategies.
