We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless and Bell's High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next generation stop-fold aircraft. This position is onsite in Fort Worth, Texas. Demand Planner H-1 Bell is seeking a Demand Planner to support H-1 Sustainment at our Fort Worth, Texas location. The Demand Planner will focus on analytics and strategic planning for H1 Performance Based Logistics (PBL). This individual contributes to achieving revenue goals through business case scenarios and analytics to maximize Bell’s revenue while meeting all government and contractual requirements. This position conducts demand planning, strategic forecast modeling, business case scenarios, and metrics for Bell’s H1 PBL contracts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Technical Field, Business, Data Analytics, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Materials Resource Planning (MRP) / Supply Chain / Demand Supply Balancing environment / Logistics
  • Works well in a collaborative teamwork environment
  • Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required
  • SAP experience required

Nice To Haves

  • Familiar with MS PowerApps/Power BI preferred

Responsibilities

  • Implement strategy to improve inventory availability supporting customer demand based upon historical and recent events
  • Advise inventory management decisions to include excess identification and reduction
  • Advise engineering activities related to material configuration changes – Bell, Vendor, and Customer actions
  • Provide forecast projection analysis with customer demand to drive inventory accuracy
  • Assist in contract demand reviews before and after demand load – Drive functional teams to implement corrective actions in timely manner
  • Perform forecasting for Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) materials: Outcome will drive desired strategic inventory for VMI materials to support customer demand
  • Analyze supply distribution settings and identify opportunities to improve performance and reduce downtime
  • Monitor and adjust Master Data settings on expansion components and configuration changes
  • Guide & advise Supply Chain efforts, report progress on long-term contracts that support H1 PBL contracts
  • Monitor performance metrics and measurements to give visibility to supply support cost and schedule misalignments
  • Support contract reviews through content development and presentations
