What you will do The Demand Planner is responsible for developing accurate demand forecasts to support supply chain planning and ensure product availability. This role requires strong analytical skills, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to balance customer demand with inventory optimization. The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of experience in demand planning within a fast-paced, global supply chain environment. How you will do it

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, or related field.
• 5–8 years in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain analytics.
• Proficiency in demand planning tools and ERP systems (Logility, SAP (APO), JDE, Kinaxis, etc.).
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Nice To Haves

• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
• Experience in a global or multi-site manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with statistical forecasting techniques and machine learning models.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual demand forecasts using statistical models and market intelligence.
• Analyze historical sales data, trends, and seasonality to improve forecast accuracy.
• Monitor forecast performance and implement corrective actions to reduce bias and error.
• Partner with Sales, Product Management, Finance, and Supply Planning teams to align demand plans with business objectives.
• Collaborate with demand planners in other regions to consolidate global demand dependency
• Participate in S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) meetings to present demand insights and recommendations.
• Support development of forecasts for New Product Introductions in conjunction with NPI processes and gate reviews
• Ensure demand plans support optimal inventory levels and minimize stock-outs or excess inventory.
• Provide input for production planning and procurement decisions.
• Maintain demand planning systems and tools (e.g., SAP APO, Oracle, Kinaxis, or similar).
• Generate reports and dashboards to communicate forecast accuracy, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders.
• Use skills to analyze data for outliers and determine best practice for incorporating into forward looking forecasts
• Identify process gaps and implement best practices to enhance forecasting accuracy and efficiency.
• Stay updated on industry trends, forecasting methodologies, and technology advancements.
