The Demand Planner owns the demand plan for a specific group of businesses at SanMar.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
4-6 years of applicable work experience
Mastery skill level with Microsoft Excel
Strong financial and analytical skills and background
Detail oriented individual with strong organizational, problem solving, and time management skills
Ability to work independently and with little supervision
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Responsive to staff needs including professionalism, respect, and consideration of others
Demonstrates flexibility and the ability to quickly adapt to change in the work environment
Be able to work under pressure within a time frame
Responsibilities
Prepare monthly and yearly forecasts at the item level for a group of styles.
Make recommended adjustments to forecasts based on changes in demand and trend.
Lead monthly forecast meetings.
Prepare, report and communicate a unified forecast to ensure purchases are executed to an accurate inventory plan.
Continuously improve forecasting techniques, method and approach.
Relate and measure impact of forecast accuracy.
Create, analyze and communicate consistent and actionable reporting for business using current trends, historical results and market research.
Actively participate in business meetings to proactively identify risks, opportunities, and creative solutions to maximize business results.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Benefits
Salary Range: You`ll earn between $80,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience.
Bonus: You`ll be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus up to 10% of base salary.
Paid Time Off: You`ll accrue paid time off on a bi-weekly basis based on hours worked up to 112 hours per year to start. Employees also receive 8 paid holidays and 1 paid family day off.
