About The Position

Serve as subject matter expert and liaison for all Demand Planning activities and tools (GIB), bridging Supply Chain/SIOP with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Operations, Finance, and Executive leadership. Lead monthly cross-functional demand planning meetings and Executive SIOP reviews. Own and disseminate all Demand Planning KPIs, including forecast accuracy, bias, and value-based metrics. Manage the full demand planning lifecycle—from statistical forecast through consensus and publication. Ensure finished goods output aligns with demonstrated line capabilities and capacity constraints. Drive full utilization of ERP system (SAP), automating planning activities and maintaining accurate master data. Upload and maintain production forecasts in SAP; ensure correct planning parameters and alignment with inventory strategy. Partner with Procurement to align supply with production plans, resolve bottlenecks, and optimize resource availability. Manage statistical forecast sequencing and data hierarchies within GIB/SAP. Establish and enforce standard work for forecast overrides, ensuring clarity and accountability between Sales and SIOP. Publish forecasts to all stakeholders including MRP (SAP), Planning/Scheduling Models, Finance, Sales, Product Management, Logistics, and Sourcing. Own Demand Planning Standard Work across stakeholder functions, ensuring consistency and auditability. Provide A/B/C/D inventory analysis and Quality Hold report reporting to support financial and operational decisions. Maintain visibility into inventory flows, valuation, and capacity by line to support strategic planning and cost optimization. Understand and communicate financial impacts of sourcing costs, COGS, and inventory accuracy (gross and absolute). Collaborate effectively with internal customers (Operations, Sales, Quality, Production, Customer Service, Distribution, Inventory) and external partners (Suppliers, Contract Manufacturers, Logistics Providers). Quantify, track, and prioritize business value of planning initiatives. Analyze operational problems and recommend improvements using modeling, data mining, and analytical reviews. Design and measure new reporting processes to support continuous improvement. Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Strong business acumen with demonstrated understanding of inventory flows, valuation, and capacity planning.
  • Previously demonstrated successes in using SIOP process to achieve business goals.
  • Fluency in financial metrics including sourcing costs, COGS, MRB, and inventory accuracy.
  • Solid understanding of ERP data flow (SAP preferred).
  • Strong analytical skills and decision-making capabilities. AI experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of supply chain best practices, KPIs, master scheduling, and inventory optimization; APICS certification a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, Operations Research, Business, or Computer Science. MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Demand Planning, Forecasting, and Supply Chain Management with multi-plant and global footprint.
  • Proficiency in forecasting metrics, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office products.
  • Proven ability to drive cross-functional initiatives across finance, manufacturing, customer service, logistics, and sourcing.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to influence and navigate matrixed organizations.
  • Experience managing stakeholder expectations across multiple time zones and cultural contexts.
