We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking DeltaV Systems Administrator to join our IT/OT Services Team. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in automation and control systems, particularly DeltaV, and a desire to broaden their expertise in secure networking, OT cybersecurity, and industrial software platforms. As a DeltaV Systems Administrator, you will be instrumental in deploying, troubleshooting, and maintaining DeltaV-based control systems, ensuring high reliability, performance, and security across operational environments. You’ll also be responsible for assessing, installing, and supporting secure infrastructure that integrates DeltaV with broader OT ecosystems, while collaborating across teams to drive operational excellence. This position offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects, deepen your DeltaV and OT skillset, and contribute meaningfully to our company’s success and customer satisfaction. This is a customer-facing position requiring full time presence at the customer’s manufacturing site to help commission and maintain their control systems. Candidates must be able to work with customers in a professional manner while working under pressure during process startups and while troubleshooting issues.

  • Provide day-to-day support and administration for the site DeltaV Systems.
  • Assist in maintaining the DeltaV Systems, including servers, operating systems, security tools, and applications.
  • Monitor systems' health and respond to hardware and software issues as they arise.
  • Engineering scope, design and support for automation hardware and software upgrade projects, and the implementation of new technologies.
  • Help to configure and test platform equipment (e.g. servers, switches, workstations, thin clients) as needed.
  • Coordinate, support, and validate the upgrade of infrastructure equipment.
  • Identify and implement solutions to automate manual tasks, where opportunities arise.
  • Coordinate system changes and update technical documentation.
  • Interact with other teams to assist in troubleshooting, identify root causes, and provide technical support when needed.
  • Work is performed full-time on-site at customer facility in Wilson, NC.
  • Experience in engineering roles, such as process automation, system integration, or process control.
  • Ability to partake and facilitate decision making for technical projects.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet project timelines, and demonstrate planning/organizational skills.
  • Demonstrate troubleshooting abilities and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to provide clear and timely written documentation, including project updates and system validation documents.
  • Ability to respond to Emergency Service Requests as Needed.
  • Be a United States Citizen with a valid driver’s license.
  • B.S. Degree in Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or similar technical degree.
  • Experience with control systems (DCS). DeltaV software experience is highly desirable.
  • Experience working in the Life Sciences Industry.
  • System Administration Capabilities.
  • Knowledge of GMP, regulatory requirements, and computer system validation.
  • Virtualization technologies, Thin Clients, DeltaV Virtual Studio.
